My name is Max Golov. I am a cinematographer in Lisbon, Portugal.

I’ve been passionate about filmmaking since 2008, when a friend and I began capturing wedding stories. Starting my career in the early DSLR revolution with cameras like the Canon 5D Mark II, I quickly expanded into diverse fields, including music videos, low-budget commercials, corporate videos, and film projects in Moscow.

Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience working on professional sets as a 1st AC, key grip, gaffer, best boy, and focus puller. My hands-on experience with top-notch equipment and lighting setups shaped me into a highly skilled cinematographer.

In 2022, I moved to Portugal and co-founded a photo and video equipment rental business and a studio space featuring a cyclorama and podcast recording room. Alongside my cinematography work, I’ve embraced photography and now frequently shoot YouTube vlogs and podcasts.

I’m open to both commercial and creative collaborations. I’m particularly excited about shooting documentaries, narrative films, music videos, advertisements, and other creative projects.
